1. W.A.S.T.E. can suck it.

I have to share my story of woe in attempting to buy Radiohead tickets, because it really pisses me off. All I knew is that tickets would go on sale on “April 9”. No time was given, so for all I know, it could me “April 9, at midnight GMT” which is something like 4pm PDT. So last night I was checking my phone every hour or so to see if tix had gone on sale yet. Went to sleep without tix on sale yet. Woke up in the middle of the night because I was worried about it, and actually got up to check on the site at 4am (I have issues). Checked again when I woke up for good at 6am, and the server was down completely. Showered, walked the dog, and fired up the computer to find out that hey! The website has changed! There’s something to click on! But why is it taking so goddamn long? Click “stop” and “reload”. OK, patience, it’ll load for me. And it does. 100-level tickets for sale! 3 please! Loading loading loading loading loading. God dammit. Loading loading loading. “Sorry there are no tickets available”. Bah. “click here to try again”…. Loading loading loading loading loading. Impatient: click “stop” and type in the direct URL. Loading loading loading loading… 100-level tix sold out, but 200-level tix still available. Why is there a different link for the 200-level seats? AGH! 3 Please! Loading loading loading loading loading loading. “Sorry, you can only purchase tickets to one gig at a time. Click here to continue.” WHAT?! I AM only purchasing tix to one gig. God dammit. “click” loading loading loading loading loading. Everything sold out at ALL events except for 200-level tix at the WRA. 3 please! Loading loading loading loading loading loading. “Sorry, you can only purchase tickets to one gig at a time. Click here to continue.” FUCK! WHAT THE HELL! God dammit. “click”. And, now, everything is sold out.

Upon further inspection, when I made it through to the 100-level seats, and was told there were no tickets available, the site had added to my shopping cart 0 tickets to the show at the WRA. Meaning, I didn’t have any tickets, but there was a line item in my shopping cart saying I had a number of tickets (ZERO) to the gig at WRA, thereby preventing me from adding MORE tickets from the WRA gig.

What a fucked up way to do things. A horrible way to start the day.
