1. “Infographic” by Phil Gyford. In direct response to the infographics created by Nicholas Felton, who has essentially started a movement of infographics that look like this. Other examples include Andrew Kuo and more recently, Mike Deal. Click through to see Gyford’s scathing take.

    I agree with the sentiment — a lot of the infographics he is parodying do not add any value other than “prettiness.” But the three I mention above, the guys driving this trend, are making worthwhile graphics that are interesting to look at and help define the information being described.
