It’s that time of year again for the Troy-Stuart Family-Fun Holiday-Card™. What a year it’s been!
Isaac left for college in August and the house hasn’t been the same without him. He’s moved to Africa to attend the University of Mozambique and earn his degree in African Wombat Migration. We’re just glad he’s given up that all-accordion-and-kazoo klezmer band thing — they were going nowhere.
Danielle is so happy teaching art to Redmond’s poor children that she’s decided she’s going to open her own School of Photography And paper Mache (S.P.A.M.). “If photographs of plaster-covered balloons don’t make the world a better place, then I don’t what will,” says the mother of one.
With Danielle now (unsuccessfully) self-employed, Royal was having trouble as the sole bread-winner for the household and consequently turned to crime. Thankfully, he wasn’t that good at it. His potential crime spree ended after only one robbery: a semi-truck full of shredded mozzarella cheese. But as the saying goes, “When you’re given oranges, make Orange Fanta.” Royal has gone back to his roots and is now the proud manager of a his very own Pizza Hut restaurant. Stop in and say hi the next time you’re in town and he may be able to get you a free trip to the salad bar.
Lucy the Dog decided she’s had enough of this family, packed her squeaky toys and headed out the door. We’re not sure where she’s going, but as she walked away from the house sources overheard her mumbling something about going to “a house on the other side of the hill where she can reclaim her title as queen of the castle”.
